In Our Backyard - A Coastal Camera Club Exhibition

Submission Fee: $5.00/image (up to three images)
Eligibility: Artists must be current members of the Coastal Camera Club. Submitted images must be produced no earlier than 2015 and never have been displayed in any RAL gallery/exhibiton.

Theme: Images captured within Sussex County, DE.  Open to all CCC members, this exhibition will be on display on the CCC gallery wall at the Rehoboth Art League. Selected images will be printed and hung "clothesline style." Photographs must not be framed for display. A print that is sold may be replaced with another print of the same image.

Submission Requirements
Submission images must be less than 4MB each. The longest side of your image must be over 960 pixels. Upon each submission, you will receive an email affirming acceptance. You may re-enter the call until the deadline to delete, change, and/or edit your submissions. 

Display Guidelines: Selected Images should be printed on paper with an outer dimension no greater than 17" x 22." The printed image should be centered on the sheet with a minimum of a 1" border around the edge. (A larger border is preferable.) "In Our Backyard" will hang in conjunction with "Mixed Metaphors" - photographic works by members of the Artists' of Delaware, "Abandoned Places" - works by Michael Hower, and "Conversations" - sculptural works by Joachim Gawryolek.

Juror: Constance Costigan
Constance Costigan is Professor of Fine Arts Emeritus at George Washington University in Washington DC. Her works are in such major collections as the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Phillips Collection (where she had a solo exhibition in 1977), the University of Iowa Musuem, the George Washington University Permanent Collection, and other public and private collections in the U.S. and abroad.

Additional Information 
Pick-up and Delivery: Delivery dates are as noted above. Pick-up dates are within 7 days following the last day of the exhibition. All artwork must be picked up by the artist and/or shipping arrangements prepaid and prearranged by the artist at the end date of the show. RAL is not responsible for the return of any artwork(s) if unclaimed, or when no arrangements have been made. There is a storage fee of five dollars ($5.00) / day / piece for any work(s) that remains at the RAL after 14 days following the close of the exhibition.

Commissions: All works must be available for sale. The artist will receive a sixty-five percent (65%) payment for any works sold during this exhibition. Following the exhibition: the artist must pay a thirty (35%) percent commission to the RAL for any work(s) sold outside of the RAL to a buyer who was introduced to the work(s) while on display during this exhibition. Works must be produced no earlier than 2015 and never before displayed in any RAL gallery.

Any works remaining at the RAL after two (2) months past the end date of this exhibition may be forfeited to the Rehoboth Art League.
